Hi, can somebody help me with my log in credentials? Because i already paid for the exam simulator but i couldn’t access it because i still didn’t receive it on my spam messages
What would be the best AFO for someone with club foot? My foot has a high arch and I walk on the outside of my foot. I walk in the ‘over supination’ position. None of you guys seems to have an answer for our condition and it is very frustrating that all you seem to learn is now to deal with plantar fasciitis ,foot drop, diabetic foot etc. There are many people out there with my foot condition that can find no help. 😢
Do you have to take the exam in the States?
Best book for modalities fir note prep?
8-12 weeks
Yup, same happened to me. After our 1st child was born we decided to stay at my parents place since it was bigger, he hated that, because he would say that the house wasn’t organized enough. I would get up everyday and try to deep clean the house even though I was under a lot of pain. 2 years later now we have another child. This time he would get annoyed that I needed some sleep, and took naps with my newborn, Because he didn’t want to take care of our 2 year old by himself and plus he was always hungry and always wanted fresh hot coffee made. Since WE ARE STILL IN MY PARENTS home I had to make him, food, get him water, make coffee etc. HE IS BEYOND ANNOYING. And super ungrateful to my parents and to me. But I’ve stayed cuz my 2 year old is obsessed with his father. I just don’t want to ruin my child, so I put my needs aside.

This was fantastic lecture! It was a great way for me to feel confident about a complex patient and the orthotic eval!
I have a question if anyone can answer. On a bk if your tibia is cut shorter than your fibula does that affect how you align your socket as far as 5 degree flex ion

So how do you differentiate an anterior trunk lean due to weak hip extensors from tight hip flexors? It wasn’t stated in the question. I would have picked a hip extensor strengthening exercise. Will appreciate it if you elaborate on this

This series is amazing 🤩
🔥🔥🔥
Very well explained
Great explanation
Amazing! Here's how I understood it. Imagine the affected arm lateral to the tree you're "chopping". First, Draw the sword. Then, when the arm is flexed, cross it to the other side and "chop".
Amazing!
As of may 2023 the Prometric sites allow water in a clear container into the testing room. Is this applicable for the PT exams?
Yes, you're correct. Prometric now allows clear bottles of water into the test center. (pretty awesome, right!?)
👍👍👍
Nice lecture.. Am a student in a medical school, specializing in orthotics and prosthetics, and honestly.. I'd request you to do more of this lectures cause they are really helpful
Hi,I'm studying this feld like you.!.😅

Great exercise with some foaming rolling to target those knotty areas does wonders. I've also included some quad stretches aswell...always great content
😊 P r o m o s m
What does the question mean by "pedal"? The patient isn't on a bike so is there a different meaning behind the word pedal?
He referring to the (pronounced pee-dal) pedal pulse that is on top of the foot.
Thanks alot for your great efforts 👏
I just can't believe I just passed this exam. These YT lectures and questions from here and from other sources were awesome for me. Thanks.
How do I sign up for the course?
If the question on the NPTE does not specifically express if it's a flexible or rigid varus/valgus. What type of deformity should you assume you are treating as PT?
Interestingly, the research suggests that changing your answer is usually a good thing, and that the perception that changing your answer is bad usually comes from the fact that the instances where we change from a correct to an incorrect answer are more salient in our minds. That said, to take advantage of both initial intuition and good thought processes, it might be good to hide the answers first and really understand what the question is asking so that, when you look at the answers, both your intuition and your slower thought processes will be more likely to work together. Just a thought, anyway.
Yeah that's definitely not the one I learned for the cranial nerves... But you know what, I heard it exactly once 4 years ago and I still remember them perfectly because of it. 😂
Would love to know how you were crossing out the incorrect answers on the NPTE demo exam. Other navigation tips? Can you highlight?
